I have 20 years of experience in working with adults and young adults in order to help them live happier and more fulfilling lives. I provide both short and longer-term therapy, as well as providing clinical supervision. I have a particular interest in developing men’s mental health, and have experience in a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma as well as struggling with neurodiversity.
I have a particular interest in developing men’s mental health. I am also interested in people’s experience of anxiety, as well as helping men to manage their relationships. While I don’t specialise in couple therapy, I do see couples and believe individual therapy can be a good support for working on your couple relationship. I also have experience in working with neurodiversity, and believe it is important to help people affirm their neurodivergent identities. I am a member of the Cape Town Psychoanalytic Self Psychology Group (CTPSPG).
I have a BA (Hons) HDE from UCT and a MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch. I also have an Honours in Journalism. Before becoming a psychologist I taught English and History, worked as a journalist and edited publications for an NGO.
